In 2018 and 2022, voters overwhelmingly elected me to protect our Preserve and bring community priorities to City Hall. Together we are doing it!

Scottsdale is much better off today. We protected neighborhoods, funded infrastructure, created new parks while dedicating new funding to revitalization of our older parks - starting in the southernmost Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt. We doubled the City’s financial reserves; lowered your taxes; and ended the export of Scottsdale water. We initiated a park ranger unit; an ambulance service, and ramped up wildfire mitigation efforts and we keep protecting the McDowell Sonoran Preserve!

Scottsdale thrives when City Hall and residents share the same priorities. This winning formula has guided me for seven years and delivered major community victories at the ballot box: 2019 bonds, General Plan 2035, and Propositions 490 & 491.

We’ve won a lot, but challenges remain. We must have safe, reliable water - well into the future. We must protect our economy and environment, while reigning in abusive short-term rentals and defending against harmful state legislation.
